ATSF 2208         
AMARILLO TX Sept 11 1983 -- Santa Fe GP7u 2208 and 2179 an assignment at the engine facility. EMD built the 2208 as GP7 2740 (s/n 16384) in August 1952 and delivered it in zebra stripe paint. It was painted in blue with yellow ends before Nov 5 1967. It was rebuilt at the Cleburne TX shops as a GP7u, painted in blue with yellow warbonnet and renumbered 2208 in September 1980. On Sept 22 1995 it was transferred to BNSF and on Feb 7 2000 it was patched and renumbered BNSF 1356.
