GUTHRIE OK Sept 4 1978 -- Santa Fe GP7 2795 is tied up at the station awaiting switching work. EMD built the 2795 (s/n 17450) in October 1952 and delivered it in zebra stripe paint. At an unknown date it was repainted yellow warbonnet. In January 1981 the Cleburne TX shops rebuilt it as a chop-nose GP7u with an angled Topeka cab and it was renumbered ATSF 2221. It was transferred to the BNSF on Sept 22 1995. In January 2000 it was patched and renumbered BNSF 1365. In October 2005 it was rebuilt as a Radio Controlled Locomotive Platform and renumbered 290.
