ATSF 3074
NORMAN OK Nov 9 1980 -- Santa Fe GP20u 3074, U23B 6330, another GP20u and a GP39-2 lead train 325 past the station. The mixed fright is eastbound (compass south) and has just crossed East Main Street. EMD built the lead unit as GP20 ATSF 1174 in December 1961. In the 1969-70 general renumbering it became ATSF 3174. The San Bernardino shops rebuilt the unit into a GP20u in 1979 and it became ATSF 3074. It later wore SPSF colors and was retired in those colors. It was sold To TP&W as TPW 2001 and eventually scrapped for parts. (Roster information from atsfrr.net)
