| FORT WORTH TX May 26 1985 -- Missouri Pacific SD40-2 3243 leads a mixed freight over the Tower 55 diamonds. Note orders hanging to left of 3243. EMD built the 3243 (s/n 776099-28) in Sept 1978. After the MP-UP merger it was renumbered 4243 on Feb 23 1988 and was renumbered UP 9928 on Aug 20 2000. It went through the MP to UP for Life Extension program on May 31 1994. UP retired the unit on April 19 2001.
