PURCELL OK July 1974 -- Amtrak SDP40F 504 leans into the superelevation as train 16, the Lone Star, approaches Purcell from the south. EMD built the 504 (b/n 72694-5) in June 1973. After being traded in to EMD its internal components were used in the construction of F40PHR 330.
