ENCINO NM Sept 3 1983 -- Santa Fe SD45u 5432 leads a pig train on the Transcon. EMD built the locomotive as ATSF 1845 in November 1966. It became ATSF 5545 in the 1969-70 general renumbering. In May 1981 it was rebuilt as an SD45u and became ATSF 5432. It was retired in March 1991, went to PRI and was scrapped. (Roster information from atsfrr.net) |
