EL RENO OK January 1976 -- Rock Island F9Am 4164 and F9Am 4152 sit at the engine facility. The 4162 will leave the roster in only a few months. EMD built the unit as Union Pacific F3 1415A (b/n 4620) in January 1948. It was renumbered to UP 1415 in April 1948, renumbered to 1521 in March 1951, rebuilt by EMD as F9A 534 in January 1959 and sold to Rock Island as F9Am 4164 in February 1972. It was traded in to EMD in July 1976.
