EMD upgraded it to 1200 HP before 1960. It was acquired by Commonwealth Railway Inc as CWRY 108 and then by FMC Corp as TGSX 1028. Description:  OKLAHOMA CITY OK April 1977 -- This undated shows MKT NW2 9 awaiting its next switching assignment while sitting at the site of the Katy roundhouse. Two stalls of the roundhouse were still standing and the remains of the coaling tower are at right. The tracks in the background belong to the Rock Island.
