Title:  BN 4197 RS11
Description:  VANCOUVER WA Sept 28 1978 -- Burlington Norther RS11 4197 sits at the engine facility. Alco built the unit (builder number 83587) in June 1960 as Northern Pacific 917. It became BN 4197 August 18 1980 after the merger. It was retired in August 1980 and sold to Chrome Crankshaft Sept 8 1980 and then to Dow Chimical as DOWX 1005 (Ft Saskatchewan AB) in July 1987. A photo by Jesse Acorn taken March 14 2010 shows the loco as a "well-picked over carcass." (Roster information from http://research.nprha.org, locophotos.com and trainweb.com/oldtimetrains)
