Description:
TULSA OK March 30 1980 -- Frisco GP40-2 755 comes to a stop at Cherokee Yard engine facility. EMD built the 755 in May 1979. When the BN and Frisco merged it became BN 3045. It was retired in October 1997. (Roster information from trainpix.com)

BN 3049
Description:
SAGINAW TX February 1986 -- Burlington Northern GP40-2s 3049 and 3047 handle a mixed freight. Both are former St.Louis San Francisco locomotives. EMD built the 3049 as SLSF 759 (b/n 786186-10) in May 1979. The 3047 was built as SLSF 757 (b/n 786186-8) also in May 1979. Both were retired in September 1997. They were acquired by Kansas City Southern as KCS 4809 and KCS 4807 respectively.
