| EMPORIA KS June 1976 -- This undated photo shows Santa Fe SD40 5003, SD45 5567 and SD40 class unit 500 awaiting a new crew as the rearend crew of another train boards caboose 367. Information from atsfrr.net indicates unit 5003 was built by EMD in April 1966 and rebuilt as an SD40u in January 1981. it became BNSF 6304 on August 25, 1998. NOTE -- Date of slide is approximate and based on slide mount date. |
