HERMOSA WY Oct 19 1977 -- Eastbound Union Pacific C30-7 2971 and Western Pacific GP35 3002 haul a mixed freight as they approach Hermosa tunnel's west portal on track one. EMD built the 2971 (b/n 41569) in September 1977. It was renumbered&to 2411 in mid 1978 and then to 411 on Feb 6 1997. It was retired Sept 30 1999.
