SPRUCE CO Oct 21 1977 -- Rio Grande SD40T-2 5355 leads an empty coal train on the Joint Line between Larkspur and Monument. Web site utahrails.net reports, "D&RGW 5355 was renumbered to UP 4043 on 8 October 1999; renumbered to UP 8613 on 12 April 2000." UP retired the unit in 2008.
