GALLAHER NM Aug 6 1982 -- Santa Fe SD45-2 on the point of a TOFC-COFC train speeds along the Transcon in a perfect vanishing point picture. EMD built the unit in May 1973. In July 1986 it was rebuilt to an SD45-2u, repainted to SPSF colors and renumbered to 7225. It reCurned to ATSF colors and renumbered to 5825 before Jan 1 1991. After maintenance at MK in April 1994 it was renumbered and relettered to BNSF 6475 on March 15 2000. |
